Does anyone have any recommendations for a ~60-inch 1080p TV to pick up this holiday shopping season? Smart or dumb, doesn't matter. However, if it is a smart TV, I would prefer it have a clean, intuitive interface and fast wifi to at least be something I might use. Also, I already have a sound bar. One issue I had with this last TV was the audio lag. I could set the delay through the TV that made it passable, but it wasn't perfect, so that would be a consideration for the next one.

we purchased a TCL 55P605 for a presentation screen for work, and the screen looks very nice. I can not speak to how movies or TV look on it, but I would say it's worth your time giving it a look.

I think you got me sold on this one. Definitely fits the bill, and apparently I can get it $50 cheaper at best buy with a less fancy remote.

I'm looking at this same panel. I found some YouTube videos showing that it's apparently got very low input latency, too. Might be a good panel for gaming, and that's drawn my interest.
A couple reviews indicated it's not great at steep angles (like more than 30 degrees or so off perpendicular) but that's not a big deal for me. It's mostly going to be for sitting on the couch around 10' away watching Netflix or playing games.

The VA panel white shifting is a lot more annoying upclose than at normal TV viewing distances.
