Nikon Z 7 (Full Frame mirrorless)

lens roadmap for Z mount - https://www.dpreview.com/files/p/articl ... oadmap.png

This particular model doesn't really excite me. Basically a D850 with a new lens mount as far as I can tell (obviously that's a generalization, I realize there are differences and some that may make big differences in practice). Maybe some of you bigger Nikon people will be excited. I'd still rather have a Sony (if going FF mirrorless) from what I have seen thus far.

You gonna bite, Kampman? I suspect your F mount collection is probably going to keep you from doing so at least initially.

It looks to be about at the level of the a7II and a7rII, with a better EVF. But with some missing features and a pretty good adapter available. I have to see some reviews where the af is tested. The one thing I have repeatedly read is that it isn't anywhere close to as good as their dslr af (3D af?). Way overpriced. Needs to be $500 less on each model. The Z6 doesn't come close to competing with the a7III. Shoot, the a7II is only $1k, and it isn't far off the z6.
