Which monitors look interesting from CES 2019?

Thu Jan 10, 2019 2:27 pm

I'll get the ball rolling with the Aorus’ AD27QD. 1440P, 10 bit IPS, 144Hz, HDR (only HDR 400 though...), and Freesync. Supposed to launch this month too.

Still waiting for monitors announced last freaking August to actually ship. Like the acer xv273k for example. Maybe then I'll care about CES vaporscreens.

Keep in mind the overpriced 4k "144hz"123456789* gsync turds took two years to release.

Yeaahhhh... at least in this case the RGB Bling is on the back so you don't have to look at it. (Seriously hoping we can turn it off completely.)

It's really hard to geek out about the new shiny if you insist on bringing this "reality" thing into it, ya know.

Get on it, mate!

What video card can do 2160p @ 144hz? What a waste. Espeialy at only HDR400 and 90% of DCI-P3.

2080Ti can do it if you are willing to do some compromises or play older titles. 2080Ti SLI can do it on high details if you don't mind the caveats of SLI/CF.
