Finally, we don't have to watch HDR movies on our small mobile AMOLED displays. F you, IPS and VA panels!!!

What that garbage site won't tell you is the Samsung OLED display that is used on Gigabyte Aero 15, Razer Blade, Dell XPS, Dell G7, Alienware m15 and some Clevo-based laptops is prone to banding. You can find this information from actual users on Reddit, people who did not get a review sample handpicked by manufacturer. The OLED panel also uses more power than LCD options, something this garbage site also does not mention and something that will be important to laptop users who rely on battery. According to Dell the OLED panel has maximum power consumption of 14.80w, this is much higher than 1080p 240hz panel which has maximum consumption of 4.41w. Of course if you keep your laptop always plugged in the power consumption won't matter, but potential for banding will. Same for potential burn-in especially if you don't use autohide for taskbar. And the OLED display used in these models is very glossy, meaning you will have issues with reflections outdoors, this review has example of reflections when used outside:

Oh no. Then I guess we have to wait for micro LED displays. 5 more years? :(
