Elohim, that kinda looks like fractal art. Very nice, and I like your choice of bright colors in the first pic.

Both modeled in 3dsMax
Rendered in Vray 1.5
Texture and post-processing in Photoshop CS4

It's the same model, with different skins. Fokker DVII. Enjoy!

Cool renderings Donor!

Did you use an HDRI map for the lighting?

jobodaho, the parked D7 has an HDRI map, and the flying D7 is lit with a Vray Sun/Sky.
Both are rendered with Vray, and composited onto the background in Photoshop :)

And this last one is noteworthy as I did a 36" x 24" print at 500 dpi. For those that keep count, the render for it was 216 megapixels and about 650 MB in size.

I was all set to feel bad for bumping this thread that hadn't been posted in since August, but then I saw that the next most recent post was from 2014, so ...

Anyhow, my main portfolio lives here:

3D and 2D, professional and personal. Pro work includes projects like SW:TOR, Halo Wars, etc. I'm mostly using 3DS Max, Unity, and Sketchbook Pro lately. Learning Substance Painter.

edit: PenGun - wow, Fractint! That takes me back. I used to use it to generate DXF terrain meshes for my 3D Studio (v1) renderings.
