Interesting projector solution

So basically it is a 1080p DLP projector (that in itself is pretty nice) but it comes with it's own video input box. Basically the box takes all your inputs (DVR/consoles/computer) and converts everything to 1080p, and then via a single HDMI cable that is transferred up to the projector. That's a really nice solution, IMHO. It also had HDMI output so you can output to a receiver and just use the Optoma video converter box as your main hub. I wonder if you can buy just the box. For a couple hundred bucks, that'd actually be kinda useful. Especially since it supports de-interlacing, something Dell decided wasn't important enough to include with my monitor.
It looks like the unit retails for $4k or $5k with an included anamorphic converter.
