Anyone have an issue with afterburner under-clocking their card while just browsing or a desktop interface? It drops my MSI 7850 Twin Frozr II down to 300/150 core/memory. This is causing the second monitor (via DVI) to flicker and have scanning/refresh issues, makes it fairly unusable. Oddly enough while looking at the interface I watched it bump up to 400/1200 for no apparent reason, probably a call by some plugin on TR when I loaded. In that 20 second window the glitching went away. This is likely a memory refresh problem from what I can see.
Is there any way to set the floor in Afterburner to say..... 500/350 or something to alleviate this refresh problem?
I set the automatic profile for 2D to a 560/600 which was the minimum and still no dice. It's locking itself at 300/150. Really need Afterburner to be able to play games really well with this card the way that I do, so writing afterburner off isn't a good option at this point. I suppose I could force shut it down and start it when I need, yuck.
