Which do you mean: an i3-530 2.93GHz, or an i3-350m 2.26GHz?

To expand what ludi said:

On the desktop, maybe. You can possibly try to crank the bus speed from 133 up to whatever the CPU will tolerate, depending on your motherboard.

If you have a mobile chip, almost certainly no, and it'd be a bad idea because the thermal system in the notebook is almost assuredly not up to the task.

No. The only mobile CPUs that can be overclocked have an "H" suffix AFAIK.

The TL;DR version is:
"No".

The longer version is:
"No, you cannot overclock a 350M (I assume that's the chip you mean!) - Intel locked both the multiplier-locked and the base clock. Since there were never any unlocked chips for socket G1 (the first-gen Core-i mobile processors) there would be zero reason for any laptop manufacturers to add overclocking support to the motherboard BIOS either. A double-locked CPU on a motherboard with no overclocking support means you are completely out of options. Just be thankful it still works after 8 years ;)"
