There's no formal definition of what a "system" temperature is AFAIK. If I was using it, I'd probably put it in the VRM area.

In order to do that it would need some sort of data connection (e.g. USB) and software. I see no mention of anything like that.

TBH this is not a product I would buy. As I noted already, I doubt you'll get accurate CPU temps from it. Furthermore, the display just looks kind of obnoxious (and I'll bet there's no way to turn the brightness down either).
