ha! :D i had this old amd 1gh and i just recently took it out to put the mp in, and lastnight (late) i was board so i started to experiement with the amd 1gh. i tried to unlock the multiplier , with the pencil trick, but nothing happened. i think it's just cause my mobo (ecs k7s5a) not the greatest . so i dont think my bios had an option for the multiplier, didnt see anything different in the bios and i look for like 1 hour. finally realized that the fsb was set at 100 not 133.. i cranked that puppy up to 133 and now the 1gh is smooth sailing at 1333gh. it was a great experience for me. stupid motherboard is holding me back...the new Abit k7 comn in this weekend cant wait....anyone got any suggestion ..please do tell..or anyone with advice who has o/c a amd 1gh before on the ecs k7s5a and knows what the hell to look for, cause i sure dont..thanks buh bye! :)
