i know im like other people when i wonder after reading reviews like this: how good would cooler be if it had a flatter contact surface? it is sad that would design flaw would bring down the whole cooler.

which begs me to ask, when you see the bad thermal paste print, do you add more to fill in the gap? or do you just run it as is? im asking because some people left with coolers like this wonder what the difference is if you filled it in

cause if it's a good design i would consider using sandpaper to get it smoother, some people have done this right?

this was reviewed by x-bit and posted in the techreport update thing yesterday

Hey i read that too:)Anyway yes you would probably have to put a lil extra paste on it or hand lap it flat with sandpaper wrapped around something very flat, without beating the fins up.Anyway i would not touch that for my 560tis,no voltage regulator heatsink, thats one of the hottest parts of card
Sorry not a awesome cooler not worth 25$,i do like artic cooling, darn i forgwt itss name buts itsa triple slot 3 fan cooler ver 2,i have the room for them but not impressed with the voltage circuit temps but at least they come with a sink, wish it was a heatpipe for volts like that spitfire cooler.
