Corsair H60 fan speed

Tue Aug 23, 2011 10:42 pm

Just installed the unit works great , the fan runs 2000 rpm continuous no matter what load.

Fan speed is set at target 45c max speed . I assume if I bump up the target to like 65c it should
bring it down correct ? I have the pump hooked to cpu fan 2 it has to run 4000 rpm all the time
I dont want it go under that 4000 rpm , maybe find a fan header to plug it in ?

Its the sandy rig in my sig.

Wow, those are some really good temps, especially since you are overcloking your SB processor. I guess this is another thumbs up to the H60 cooler.

I think you misunderstood , the mobo came set target speed for fan control to 45c then it will ramp the fan to 100% after 45c

temps run around 36c idle 68c load at 4.5 ghz.

OK, I stand corrected. Those temps do seem better than typical air cooling, overclocked or not.
