This really sucks. I know the guys kept it going for as long as they could, but they can no longer afford to do so. I'll miss their reviews based on solid methodology and research.

I heard they had some data loss but I haven't heard about them shutting down.

They've got a poll going in the SR forums on wether or not people would be willing to pay a subscription. I've seen at least a couple guys from here poke their head up at SR, so if you haven't cast a vote yet, here's the link:
