2 TB is pretty small for a hard-drive by modern standards. A larger drive (up to about 8 TB for
$195) would provide more storage per dollar (less than $25/TB). Here's an inexpensive option:
$71 3 TB WD30EZRZ 5400 rpm hard-drive
Remember that the cheapest SSDs are coming in at $100 per TB, so an SSD might be practical in this size range.
