That is awesome! Just curious, what's the noise like? I would think with those drives sitting on the plastic they've gotta be a little noisy unless they're low speed...

I got an extra room with computers and printers, so noise is not a problem :)

That is one of the coolest things I've seen in some time!

I think your fans are pretty irrelevant and could be removed. But the rest is quite cool!

That's what the packing foam underneath the array is for. After all, this entire rig looks to be open-form.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Areca 1130ML 12 Port Sata Raid Controller with 256 Mb Cache, and 2 x 80 GB Fujitsu as system disks and 10 x 2 TB Hitachi as data disks.

You can buy individual bricks from the LEGO online shop. I used it before (from the UK).
