Windows 8 To Go

Tue Nov 27, 2012 4:45 pm

Has anyone tried this?

I am very interested but I have one hang up really and that the host system has to be Windows 8 Enterprise. (I can get 8E with my MSDN but then that means I actually have to install it somewhere which is my hang up on it.) Is there a way around this requirement?

I use Windows 8 Enterprise, but it is really a business only feature.

As I understand it you're meant to use very specific hardware (just any thumb drive won't work for example) and it's meant to correspond to a VLK and be validated by a KMS.
