W10/1709 High Contrast, "Almost works"

Sun Apr 08, 2018 2:13 pm

I hate white windows and been doing a lot of High Contrast etc. testing.
But so far no matter how I set things there is always a menu in some program that
will be unusable.

Like CPUz the Gigabyte X399 one has a black background/white letters on the cpu window.
All good but go to the memory window and you have dark blue font on black, unreadable.
Or I've had a white background with light gray font, again unusable.
Oh yes, Windows Defender on High contast... A blank black window.

Is there a "go back to default W10 colors" button somewhere?
I've had to fight my way back there time and again just to be able to use a program.
Getting back to where I was is just to load a theme.

Hmm, maybe I could fight my way back to a default color scheme and save a new theme
and then just select that for a short period when I can't use a progam.

I'm going to have to make list of where things are. I find what I need then later... I can't find it again.

Thanks
