Where did the Compatibility tab go?

So I've got an app in Windows that I always want to run as an admin. Used to be that you could right-click the EXE, go to Properties, and set Always run as Admin on the Compatibility tab. This article has screenshots. That tab seems to have disappeared on my PC. Is that something that should be there? Windows 10 running fall creator's update.

I have it on my copy of 1709. This missing on all EXEs?

Seems that way. It's my work PC so maybe a group policy? I can still manually run as admin by right-clicking and choosing it, but I'm lazy.

edit: must be, it's still there on my personal rig. Question withdrawn, I suppose.

From a quick glance at my own system, it seems .exe's and shortcuts to them still have the expected Compatibility and Run As tabs. Shortcuts to other things, like Steam games and a few other desktop shortcuts, and downloads like MS Update Catalog .msu's, are missing this.

Still there for me. The screenshot of the Compatibility tab is slightly different in 1709, because there's an additional option for controlling High DPI scaling, but "Run as an administrator" is still a checkbox at the bottom of the options list.

Maybe there's an app manifest file in the directory indicating it doesn't need compatibility features? I have a vague memory of that being one of the 'hints' Windows uses to determine what OS version the app was built for.
