I don't quite understand what you were saying about updates, as 67.0.4 is the latest version. In any case, my #1 suspect would be a misbehaving browser extension. Try temporarily disabling all of them, and see if your browser continues to crash while playing Netflix. If it doesn't crash, then you can begin the process of elimination with your extensions.
Also, while it doesn't solve the core underlying problem, since you're running W10 you can use the dedicated Netflix app in the Microsoft Store.
