Even if it is better, I'll still use Firefox. Of course, on it's final release, I will no doubt download it just to be updated, but I've been using Firefox since it's release, and before that, Phoneix for several years.

That's a pretty big IF.

Being accostumed to Firefox and your very own set of extensions creates a dependency so great, that, without your account, it's like trying to swin without legs.

Downloaded it...

seems nice. Would consider using it when I next do a clean install... right now I am just happy with firefox, and I am so used to using it.

But I think ie7 seems quite good, and fast.

I'd be happy to use it!

According to the link at the top, it'll work ONLY on XPSP2.
What we have today is way too much pluribus and not enough unum.

Does anyone know if it replaces IE6? Can you run both concurrently? I will need IE6 to check for compatibility, so if installing 7 overwrites it I'm not going to bother.

There's no Hammertime button for IE. What's the point?

(and yeah, I guess the 14 other extensions are pretty useful, too...)

Will I be able to change tabs by holding the right mouse button and turning the mouse scroll?

Extensions are too deeply ingrained in tech-savvy FF users to switch back

So I tried it......IE7 has one big issue....The lack of a bookmarks toolbar folder. Having all my links organized into group folders available right there on the toolbar is awesome.

Links?

Heeey you can press Ctrl+Tab to switch tabs in IE7. I never figured out a way to do it in Firefox :\

EDIT: Heeey it's ctrl+tab in Firefox too!

On Opera too :P

So does it hog memory like FF 1.5 (FF uses 4X the memory of Opera with the same tabs open on my system)? I tried FF 1.5 for 2 months since it comes pretty close to Opera in the important features with the available extensions, but its not quite Opera in features and a big fat pig :x
