Hollywood hacking

Fri Oct 21, 2016 8:08 am

This isn't exactly new, but I just stumbled across it and it brightened my day:

I, of course, had to go ahead and install it on my linux VM immediately and show it off to the guys in the office.

For what it's worth, it works on Bash on Windows 10 too!

Really chews up the CPU resources though.

That's just the auto backtracing and cia infiltration script. Should only take about 15 seconds to get in.

I have to admit, I lol'ed. Is that Dwarf Fortress going in one of the panels? It needs some random "3D virtual filesystem exploration" animation to really seal the deal, though. Can't be an ultimate hacker without that, eh?

Really should incorporate some diagonal links between those nodes though. Any load on that file structure will put too much torque on the corners and it may collapse!

No, it's really really strong, Look at the "strength" bar on the right, it goes to 41!

41 arbitrary strong units is practically indestructible.

I'm more impressed that it was already using a "visually object-oriented" way to build the worm.
