I am pleased to reply that YES running a Turing And Pascal card side by side in the same rig does, with minor tweeks work perfectly.
My concern was over how the drivers and F@H client would work and if the second (card would fold at full capacity).
SO here was my experience.
RTX 2070 already installed and folding @ about 900k PPD
installed GTX 1070 in NON Sli and add removed the Folding @ Home client HAD TO REMOVE DATA TOO as the first attempt did not pick up the second card).
After reinstalling the F@H Client Fresh ( including removing all previous data) the client picked up the second card rite away, created a second folding slot and now both cards are cranking away for a total of 1.4 to 1.5 Mill PPD. Now showing 900K PPD RTX 2070 600K PPD GTX 1070 I have them dedicated to Alzheimers as this has been my TEAM concentration for 10 years having lost my mother to that dreadful disease.
We (ValueTechnology) are Folding Billionaires.. It is incredible how far GPU Folding has come as only 2 years ago I had to run 4 towers, each with gtx 970 to get close to 1 mill PPD.. Now I can defeat that with one Tower, two cards and reduce my electric bill considerably. FIND THE CURE! This disease is horrible. I hope I will live to see the day when a cure is found.https://folding.extremeoverclocking.com ... =&t=158474
