Ryzen 3000 Folding

Mon Nov 18, 2019 1:50 pm

Back in the fold for a bit guys. Was out out town and figured I'd let my rig run while I'm not here, looked around and couldn't think of anyone better to contribute to than the TR team, that I was happy to see was still folding!

Back at it with my R5 3600, which is a folding beast. Did 2 months last year with my R7 2700 on linux, which hovered between 90-110,000 ppd. My R5 seems to be doing nearly double that with 25% less compute cores. A7's are sitting around 202,000. Using Linux Mint and the 5.3 kernel.

Anyone using a 3700x or 3900x? I'd imagine the 3700x would net high 200's and I'd bet the 3900x would be in the 400-500k ppd range.

I'm assuming it's the AVX2 hardware that lets these things rip.

Hey, good to hear. I may need to jump back in for a bit as a burn-in test for my new Ryzen build!
