Since it's not doing anything else at the moment, I'm tossing TR's i7-6950X and three GTX 1080s into the pile for a bit in response to this tweet. I don't know what I'm doing but it sure is making a lot of noise and sucking down some watts.

It varies, but I've seen it get as high as 1.9 million.

Now that I've rolled it back to the 373.06 drivers, it's hitting 2.35 million. I also spun up a pair of 980 Tis in another machine and that machine is doing about 1.17 million.

It looks like your driver change corrected the recent F@h Pascal driver issue which resulted in about 500 early crash work units giving you only tiny partial credit for each one. With only a few fully completed work units you jumped to number nine on team 2630's top 20 producers! The client projection for both machines of 3.52 million points would make you the top team TR producer in less than one full twenty-four hour folding session!

The little mini-ITX gaming PC that I built a year ago generates about half a million points per day (losing an hour or two of folding time to gaming each day).  It took me a couple of years with 3 to 5 systems folding near the beginning of the project to get to 10,000 points.  The current system pushed my total over 10,000,000 points in three weeks.

I've been trying to help 2630 lately, since Jeff's recent front page post. I don't follow Folding enough to know about the Nvidia driver issue, until just now, and I've had a lot of failed work units on a GTX 1060 (Win 8.1) and a GTX 960 (Win10). Could be a settings issue, but the Windows client doesn't seem to recover from a failed work unit. It just sits there idle until I notice. Oh well, after I return from a holiday trip, I'll see if can get these two GPUs running reliably for the half-million points they put out combined. Both systems are rock stable otherwise, and can literally run for months without a reboot, if desired.
Be careful on inserting this (or any G34 chip) into the socket. Once you pull that restraining lever, it is either a good install or a piece of silicon jewelry.

I'm very interested in seeing how going from Maxwell (GTX 980) to Pascal (GTX 1070) will affect my numbers.

There is a new hotfix driver that fixes folding issues with Geforce cards.

I only just got my Pascal card, but it has picked up the work my 980 was doing without issue (using this driver), and I haven't had any failures yet.

The points jump should be pretty much directly proportional to the increases in processing cores and clock speed. Congrats on your upgrade and your 100 million point milestone.

Uh, that's not going to last for much longer with your recent stats being all flat lined and all.

Wow, I just realized that I've been folding for 4 years now! Passed 400 M a little more than a week ago.

Still running a Hex-core CPU and two GTX 980s, pulling down 3.5 to 4.5 million points in a week's time, depending on other projects and whether or not I remember to turn folding back on when I'm done gaming or rendering. :-?

Woot! About three hours ago while collecting milestone data (Yes, I still collect data every four weeks and one day I hope to find the time to post at least annual milestones.) I noticed that on 23 Feb I passed the 50,000,000 point milestone! The majority of these points are due to my son and his part-time Nvidia 1070. Mega thanks to him for putting farmpuma 20,000,000 points ahead of Just_Brew_It!

P.S. An Extremely belated (over a year!) Thank You to Jeff for his front page folding article and physical contribution to folding! Between his article and the Make TRFrankenbot Scary effort we added fifteen new folders. Thank You to Just An Engineer, SomeOtherGeek, MetalGeek464, wizardz, ante9383, Losergamer04, DrDominodog51, dodozoid, Wooders, xeridea, bthylafh (who posted in the article comments section (some of who were restarts)) and all the others who started folding but didn't post.
