Bragging Thread

Fri Apr 01, 2005 12:20 pm

I propose we start a bragging thread so we can post when we make minor accomplishments (like i had a 1000point day or i went blue) without starting a new thread. Anyways I made a few small accomplishments to start it off:

-Broke into the top 300 :D
-My score is higher than my rank now!

I had my highest single update dump today for the 6AM update. 972 points from 5 wu's.

ah yeah we're weird see.

the Government decreed several years ago that henceforth all weights and measures were to be metricifyed. Some market stall holders were actually prosecuted for continuing to use lb. and oz., however beer is still sold in pints (wines and spirits in ml) and all road distances are in miles.

lovely job!

From what I've gathered, linux with the windows client running under wine is faster than native linux. And as one might guess, much much cheaper. :)

EDIT - And I forgot, this was a bragging thread. I have borged like 6 CPUs in a few days, and should be enjoing a really nice increese in performance during the closest days. :D

Congrats Adamantine!

Reaching the top 20 producers is one of my goals. When I started toward it, I needed like 1500 - 1700 ppd. Now with the big push to catch and pass Rage3D, I need more like 2000 - 2100 ppd. It will take me a while to reach that, but I'm doing my best. Hopefully I can add a few more computers to my fold (pun intended) in the next month.

I did reach RED for my daily average for the first time about a week and a half ago. In about a week I will pass 180000 pts (I started folding in July or August last year). Woot!

Well,
Having just started folding earnestly in January, I feel real good about recently breaking the 100,000 total points barrier and getting into the top 100 list for Team TR.

Well its not bragging but this seems to be the best place to put this.

My basement flooded Saturday. This puts me out 9.5 Ghz till god knows when. I haven't even started the horrible process of finding out if anything is still good since two of the systems were partially submerged. There were other various parts that were scattered around on the floor which I have no idea if they will ever run again.

Damn thats bad.... I've heard of quite a lot of people who have dropped electrical stuff in water and have found that if you rinse it off with fresh water and dry it out thoroughly they worked again with no problems... guess it depends how long it was submerged for though...

On the bragging topic though-

I just hit 60k! And my first unit after that was a 450 pointer! One of my machines at work must have done that one, I noticed a P4 3.4ghz machine was crunching one last time I was there.
Think Your Rig kicks ass? Prove it! FOLD!
