NotFred - HD Allocation Issue

Mon Feb 02, 2009 5:32 pm

Configuration Overview:
i7 920 @ 3.8GHz w/HT enabled (8 virtual cores)
4 Instances of VMplayer 2.5.1 running Notfred (current distro)

All instances start clean. When the runs are at about 75% completion, the VMplayer console start kicking off the following errors;

attempt to access beyond end of device
hda1: rw=1, want=2097088, limit=2088387
attempt to access beyond end of device
hda1: rw=1, want=2097088, limit=2088387
attempt to access beyond end of device
hda1: rw=1, want=2097088, limit=2088387
attempt to access beyond end of device
hda1: rw=1, want=2097088, limit=2088387

etc.......

The runs do complete. However, I would like to get them running clean to completion.
I suspect that the 4 logfiles are eating all of the allocated hd space. How do I bump this allocation??

Regards,
Raptor

You are probably getting WUs with the well known bug of a huge number of steps. This makes the unitinfo.txt 100s of MB and when my stuff backs it up then it blows up in desk space. I've changed the backup to not include that file, just having a few issues that I need to clear up prior to release.
