for a really, really cheap ppd fix would hooking an atom or other janky single core chip up to a high end nvidia gpu give decent returns in ppd?

Hi Pikapo,

The new NVidia GPU drivers reduce CPU usage to a pittance, so you should be able to get 4-6k out of a 128 shader NVidia product and 5-7k out of a 192 shader product without any shader overclock.
