#61 producer overall now. Should easily break into the top 50. 1.6M yesterday :D If that's sustained Frankie will be a top 30 producer. If all TR team production went into Frankie, he(it?) would be a top 10 producer :o

I'd say a big part of that dip in production at the start of the month would be down to the new assignment server issues where a lot of GPUs were getting sent x15 WUs instead of x17.

Unfortunately I have to end my folding season now. We had a cold snap that let me keep folding longer that I thought, but it's over and my flat is an oven now. Frankie should lose no more than 400K; I've been sick, so been having some long gaming sessions which would have lessened my output. With Fuzzhead, lazl0 and others pumping points in now there shouldn't be too much of a dint

We're still completing a million points per day. Not bad, but more folders are always welcome. :D

Very low output today. Do we think Frankie has indigestion or did the ensigns accidentially pull the router cable?

Could be the stats server acting up again.

Steadily decreasing points in the face of a considerable increase in the number of work units suggests a run of crap units, so it goes. http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/ ... s=&u=94472

In better news, my son's intermittently folding GTX660Ti (my only source of points for the past couple of months) are belong to Frankie! And with a little luck my GTX650Ti will join it soon.

Every damned day I get one inch closer to buying parts for a new rendering and folding rig...it might could maybe happen this month...

But yes I think we may have received a batch of "crap WU's".

Twice this week I had to reset my DSL modem, so that can't be helping. But 10 minutes ago my GPU sent up another 68,400 points. Should show up in the 3 pm stats...

Foldingforum posts discuss serious problems with the GPU servers and difficulties with the assignment servers. That being said, I think 25 M points could happen for Frankie. Did anyone capture Frankie's graphs from years past? Asking because we seem to ramp up quickly and form "Batman's ear".

Yikes! Yesterday was a big hit. 500k point drop :o

Both my rigs were shut down by Windows updates over the weekend. Problem fixed, but I'm only pumping 35k PPD. (#smallfish)

BTW. I noticed my A8-5600K was basically producing no PPD from the GPU (IGP) slot so I disabled it (running CPU only now). I've got an AMD 5570 and a Nvidia GT620 laying around as spare parts. Would either of those be worthwhile to put into action on that rig? Which one would be better?

Yeah, I think the updates may have taken a lot of us offline. That's why I still let updates download, but I don't allow them to apply until I'm ready. Then I manually reboot at MY convenience and bring everything up for operation.

At this writing, I count 9 days to go. At current production rates, that'll net us about 7 million points more than we have now, making for a total somewhere between 22 and 23 million for this month; right around the same as we did last year. Not bad at all, but if we could get some more folding slots online, we might be able to push that a little further for a decisive improvement over last year.

This has been a crazy-busy month for me; haven't had time for much outside of work and personal commitments. Would have loved to add a GPU for the last week of October but now I don't think it's gonna happen. :(

Ditto. Currently in the middle of a job change; never did get ramped up to the extent I had intended. At least I've been pushing ~25K PPD for part of the month.

We should hit the 20 million mark sometime today, haha!

This weekend is the last full weekend in October and we only have 7 days remaining. If we keep up to our recent 1.0 to 1.2 million per day production levels, we'll be flirting with 28 to 30 M by the final witching hour of the month. The heavy-hitters are helping us a lot, but we should remember that the many more smaller systems/farms out there will also be a deciding factor of whether or not we make our 30 million mark in the next 7.5 days or so.

To combat the heat, I'll be wearing shorts and t-shirts around the house this weekend. Hey, at least I'll be clothed! :o :D

Although I did not manage to get my new system online for this, at least I've been pushing 20-25K PPD on existing systems. Maybe I'll still get it up and running this weekend, for the final week. Things have been a little crazy-busy here, a lot of things in the queue (including the new build) have gotten delayed...

In addition to surpassing last year's total, looks like we will pass UGN in a few days.

Yes, we did indeed pass last year's total, and with 5+ days to spare. Nicely done everybody!

We could yet bring in another 5 million + points. Sometime late this evening, I'll apply some outstanding Microsoft patches before rebooting and resetting my network for the final push. Shouldn't be offline for more than a few minutes.

It's nearly down to the wire... Can we break 30 million points this year? We'll know in less than a day plus change!

We need 1.33M today to break 30M! The suspense is killing me!

I think the first week of "ramp up" hurt. Is that typical?

Yeah, it's typical but I remember the ramp up taking leven longer in prior years. So it didn't really hurt us...

Goes to show if you want something done, do it yourself. The earlier part of the month was cut off due to me only able to do it now. :-?

Someone needs to apply his/her mad Photochop skillz to make the image scary.
