Hard Drive Speed Test

I've heard that Windows Vista/7 has some sort of hard drive speed test hidden in the Device Manager (in the controller properties), but for the life of me I can't find it. I'm looking for a free, lightweight, and unobtrusive HDD speed test program. Any suggestions?

Crystal Disk Mark is what ppl generally use now.

the other 2 I know are,
ATTO
HD Tach HD Tach by Simpli Software is no longer supported. I dunno about the condition of this app.

Not so free one;
HD Tune

No idea about Windows one. There is Windows Performance Index with HDD performance rating if you meant that..
