I think we should move this to System Builders Anonymous and you tell us exactly what your current and planned usage is. Both of those machines are awful spendy and their hardware is only required for a very small niche of gamers. If all you're doing is gaming, an i5-3450 is the most you need for $100 less than the i7-3770, and a GTX 670 almost matches GTX 680 performance
while shaving another $100 off the price tag. Even with those two "downgrades" you're still looking at machine that is grossly overpowered for the vast majority of gamers.
