I had one. It's not transparent. The vertical piece is black plastic, it's polished to a mirror-like sheen. It's a VERY sweet case. One thing: The front intake fans are useless unless you keep the 5.25" Stealth bay at the bottom empty and open. There are NO intake holes or vents in the bezel. Brilliant piece of design work, there... Other than that, it smokes. Add a blue window, some lighting, maybe a top window... Grrr, baby!
Oh, BTW: DON'T order from Color Cases. They suck. I ordered this case from them, their web site showed it as being in-stock. Three days later, I hadn't gotten any notification, so I e-mailed their support asking what was up. Two days after that, They e-mail back saying it's on a boat from China, they'll ship it when it comes in. I tell them to cancel the order. They offered NO help or recompensation for the trouble. They say "OK, it's cancelled". During that time, I ordered an Antec 1030 (from Newegg) that showed up in three days. Two weeks after my initial order (and subsequent cancellation) the Noblesse shows up. I already had the Antec, so I sold the Noblesse. F Color Cases. Newegg carries the Noblesse, now, as does Mwave (and it's on sale at Mwave!). There's no reason to order it for more (and with crappy service) from Color Cases. A friend of mine had roughly the same experience trying to order one of CC's "Zeus" cases. Order at your own peril.
