35mm digital photography?

My buddy Quint sent along this link to a promising-sounding product that is undeniably a cool idea. It's a "digital film" module for 35mm cameras. It looks like a CCD and memory module in the shape of a 35mm film cartridge, and it claims to store 24 1.3 megapixel digital pictures. At $699, it ain't cheap, but for someone who's invested heavily in 35mm SLR equipment, this thing could be a decent alternative, if it works well.
