Firefox hits version

In its fifth incremental update since the original 1.5 release came out in December of last year, Mozilla Firefox has been patched up with stability improvements and a number of security fixes. The fixes plug seven "critical" security holes, five of which were caused by vulnerabilities in Firefox's JavaScript implementation. None of the listings on the fixes page appear to mention the recently-uncovered FormSpy Trojan, though.

As always, the new version of Firefox can be obtained from the Mozilla website. Users of previous 1.5 versions can upgrade by going into their browser's "Help" menu and selecting "Check for Updates."
