Athlon skunkworks at the HardOCP
It seems Kyle over at the HardOCP
has a new toy. He's got pictures of an Athlon 650 modified by a guy named Mike Honn
with a nifty little circuit board full of DIP switches. One can only assume these are meant to change the multiplier, voltages, et al. on the Athlon, which we've seen before
. However, the design on the OCP appears to do something with the nifty little edge connector on the top of the Athlon, which--rumor has it--is there to accept AMD-produced "overclocking cards" for AMD internal use.
