It seems Kyle over at the HardOCP has a new toy. He’s got pictures of an Athlon 650 modified by a guy named Mike Honn with a nifty little circuit board full of DIP switches. One can only assume these are meant to change the multiplier, voltages, et al. on the Athlon, which we’ve seen before. However, the design on the OCP appears to do something with the nifty little edge connector on the top of the Athlon, which–rumor has it–is there to accept AMD-produced “overclocking cards” for AMD internal use.
