Crysis slated for mid-September
Last year, Electronic Arts officially postponed
the release of Crytek's upcoming first-person shooter Crysis to its 2008 fiscal year. EA's 2008 fiscal year started on April 1, 2007, but that's about as clear a time frame for the title's launch as the publisher revealed at the time. Well, according to Blue's News, an updated EA press fact sheet about Crysis has finally revealed a specific release date for the title
. The fact sheet reportedly says Crysis will hit stores on September 14, although with no official announcement, Blue's News advises readers to take the date with a grain of salt. The folks at GamersHell
also quote a September 14 release date, but for the United Kingdom—according to them, the North American release of the title is slated for September 11. Release dates aside, GamersHell also has a new set of screenshots up that show off in-game action.
