In a video trailer released during E3 back in July, Epic mentioned a November 2007 release time frame for its upcoming multiplayer shooter, Unreal Tournament 3. However, as Joystiq reports, a post made by Epic Games Vice President Mark Rein on the official Unreal Tournament forums now suggests the November schedule is far from set in stone. Rein's message simply says:
We do not know exactly when the game will be completed. All we've said is that we're hoping for a November release but as you know we value getting it right over getting it right now so there's no guarantee of that.
Epic also intends to roll out the PC version of Gears of War some time before the end of the year.
