We keep featuring graphics cards in our deal posts, but with GPU prices the way they are, who could blame us? The $170-250 range is packed tightly with excellent offerings from both AMD and Nvidia, and if that wasn't enough, prices keep dropping week after week.
It's another price drop that has prompted us to feature yet another GeForce 8800 in our deal post today. You see, Newegg now offers one of XFX's GeForce 8800 GT models for just $219.99. This is a full-blown 8800 GT 512MB with stock clock speeds, XFX's "double lifetime" warranty coverage, and a free copy of Company of Heroes thrown in. Folks who feel adventurous can even shave off an extra $30 by mailing in the rebate form Newegg offers with the card. We're not particularly fond of mail-in rebates ourselves, but $220 is already an excellent price for this product.
If you're looking for something a tad cheaper, prices for GeForce 9600 GTs have also gone down, and you can now nab one for as little as $164.99 by going with Foxconn's FV-N96TM3D2-ON model. This card isn't "factory overclocked" either, but considering the bargain-basement price, we won't hold that against it. Foxconn's three-year warranty coverage ought to be enough for almost everyone, as well.
