I’ve been debating doing something for the kids, since they really enjoy it, but we usually go the municipal show near us.

I always too broke to spend money on a fireworks cache so I end up getting one of the el cheapo packs. I’ve seen people load up shopping carts with hundreds of dollars worth of them.

I expect to see a review on the 5th, complete with charts, snarks, and and editor’s choice.

You are going to test and review them and post pics and analysis, right? Did you keep the receipts so you can write them off as a work-related expense?

FYI, if you’re going to buy fireworks, get the biggest, heaviest single firework you can, rather than several of the smaller ones. Source: §[<https://techreport.com/discussions.x/17168<]§

Can I come to your house? Actually, we’re going to Laurel, MT for the 4th again this year, the biggest celebration in Montana, which would probably be about the 60th largest in any other state. Still, a good time.

I imagine that a lot of displays are going to suffer the effects of this bad economy. I know I am not buying anything this year. With things as tight as they are already, I don’t need to see my money going up in smoke, literally.

That is one good part about Montana. We’re in pretty good shape, and seem to be more isolated from the rest of the country in more ways than location.

No it means our wages were already low enough for the companies to keep profits within margins.
