Rambus reorg

The little company whose memory design powers the latest Intel-based systems dives into a reorg following a rough patch. Things got ugly for Rambus when Intel repeatedly delayed its Rambus DRAM (RDRAM) enabled 820 chipset, and some semiconductor manufacturers cut back on their Rambus production plans. Rambus is still planning to offer an improved version of the memory design soon, and Sony's Playstation 2 is still slated to use RDRAM.
