Latest Chrome beta gets tab sync

Chrome has been getting more and more synchronization features over time, and now, Google is adding the icing on the cake: tab synchronization across multiple systems. The company announced the feature on its official Chrome blog yesterday. Tab sync is going to be "gradually rolling out" to Chrome's Beta channel "over the coming week," the company says.

As far as I can tell, the feature doesn't actually keep the same tabs open on multiple computers. However, it adds an "Other devices" menu to the new tab page. From there, users can call up tabs they have open on other systems—even Android devices. And here's the really cool part: calling up a tab from another device brings up that tab's full history, not just the latest page displayed.

If you want to give the feature a shot, you can join the Chrome Beta channel through this page.
