    VR-Zone: Ivy Bridge-E HEDT arrives in 2013

Not until Q3 2013!? That is almost two years after Sandy Bridge-E. Didn’t some Intel employee comment that they would be a year off each other? I am very skeptical about Intel performance chips being released on a timely basis now that they have no competition in this space.

“Seagate weaknesses means more problems for Intel”

For all we know the PC market is exploding because SSD are more then covering the shift in storage use. How many mac use HDD? how many ultrabook use HDD? HDD in windows8 tablets?

What was your last purchase? an HDD or SSD ?

Is SSD price going up.. or going down ?

Wall Street logic in a sentence :
“Water is blue… my pen is blue… hence my pen is made out of water”

Those guys should be allowed near money !

It’s the same simplistic logic that lead to ‘problems’ for Intel due to AMD’s quarterly results. Intel ended up doing pretty well for the quarter. The real problem isn’t just the logic though, it’s the inability of analysts to measure shipments for SSDs as reliably as they did for HDD. In the same way, Intel’s developing market sales aren’t counted anywhere near right, digital downloads of games aren’t accounted for very well in video game sales, and so on.

It’s kind of funny how the stock market can turn on a whim but these analysts can’t figure out trends that have been building for 5 years or more.

What color is a polar bear? Some people say white, some people say it’s fur is transparent…

With enough water, you can filter out the red part of the visible light spectrum. Does that make water blue?

[quote<]With enough water, you can filter out the red part of the visible light spectrum. Does that make water blue?[/quote<] Yes, it does. In fact that is the definition of color.

            • Duck

Well no. Something is usually blue because it absorbs all the different colors except the blue. That’s not what the water is doing is it?

On the other hand, if it looks blue, it is blue… or is it?

            • MadManOriginal

If it looks like a duck, swims like a duck, and quacks like a duck, then it probably is a duck.
