FIC's AN11 and AE11

FIC has announced two new motherboards for AMD's Athlon and Duron processors. First up is the AN11 which is based on VIA's KT266 chipset.

Taipei, July 9th, 2001- FIC's latest high performance DDR motherboard, the 1stMainboard AN11, was launched today. The 1stMainboard AN11 is based around the VIA KT266 chipset, with a VT8233 South Bridge. This new addition to FIC's successful line of Socket A motherboards can support the Athlon processor at speeds of up to 1.4GHz+, as well as the Duron at up to 950MHz+.

Gene Sheu, President of FIC's Networking and Information Group, commented: "The AN11 combined with an AMD Athlon processor and in combination with DDR memory, provides the ultimate solution for users demanding the very highest levels of performance and stability."

The second is the integrated AE31.
Taipei, July 10th, 2001 - FIC's latest value-solution motherboard for AMD CPUs, the Micro ATX AE31, was launched today. The 1stMainboard AE31 is based around a VIA chipset, with KLE133 North Bridge and 686B South Bridge, and features built-in audio and video. This new addition to FIC's successful line of Socket A motherboards supports Athlon processors at speeds up to 1.1GHz+ and Durons at up to 950MHz+, both at 200MHz FSB.
