GOG.com summer sale offers big discounts on old games

Fancy a trip down memory lane? The folks at Good Old Games have begun a summer sale with steep discounts on old and not-so-old titles. The GOG.com team promises a "constant stream" of games, with daily and hourly deals, some up to 90% off.

Today, all three RollerCoaster Tycoon games are available for $8.97, and there's a "D&D Masterset," which includes Baldur's Gate, Icewind Dale, and Neverwinter Nights games, on sale for $21.10.

Also available as I write this:

  • Alan Wake - $5.99.
  • Another World - $2.49
  • Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition - $1.49
  • FTL: Advanced Edition - $2.99
  • Machinarium - $1.99
  • Oddworld: Abe's Exodus - $1.49
  • Red Faction II - $2.49
  • Total Anhilation Commander Pack - $1.49
  • Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell - $2.49

Some of these discounts are only good for another hour or so, so the list above will go out of date pretty fast. New deals will replace the old ones, though. Really, we'd recommend keeping an eye on the sale page (which is also the GOG.com front page) to see what turns up every now and then.

As always, all GOG.com games are downloadable and unhindered by DRM or copy-protection software.
