We're looking for another writer, this time to help out with motherboard coverage. Applicants should be seasoned system builders, capable overclockers, and avid tweakers who know their way around a modern mobo. They should also be able to explain technical details with engaging, well-written prose. Some aptitude for photography (or a willingness to learn) is required, as well.
This is a part-time, freelance position, and we'd prefer applicants from the continental United States. Formal experience reviewing motherboards is an asset but not required.
We'd like all candidates to submit a short, sample news post covering this press release for MSI's Z97S Krait Edition motherboard. The post should match the standard of quality typically found on TR, but it won't be published on the site. This pseudo cover letter should also...
- Provide context and a sufficient amount of detail about the board without reading like a spec sheet or marketing copy.
- Include at least one image from the manufacturer. The image should be 620 pixels wide and cropped appropriately.
- Not be longer than 300 words.
Applicants should send their sample post and résumé to firstname.lastname@example.org. Good luck!
