There's now a silver lining to Assassin's Creed Unity's botched launch. Ubisoft has announced that, to make up for the game's performance issues and bugs, the upcoming Dead Kings DLC will be made available free of charge.
That's not all. Players who shelled out for the season pass will get a free game from among Ubisoft's latest blockbusters. The titles on offer are The Crew, Far Cry 4, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, Rayman Legends, and Just Dance 2015. Season pass holders will also, of course, get the other DLC they signed up for, including Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China.
Head here for more details about the offer.
In related news, Ubisoft says Patch 3 for AC Unity is now out. That update introduces some additional performance optimizations along with a cornucopia of bug fixes. And there's more where that came from. Ubisoft adds that it's "committed to delivering further fixes for other issues you've raised."
