After a brief post-holiday hiatus, game bundles are back in style. Nvidia has just announced that GeForce GTX 960, 970, and 980 graphics cards now come bundled with The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt at participating e-tailers and retailers.
The full game isn't due out until May 19, so folks who purchase in the meantime will have to wait. Judging by the various gameplay trailers we've seen over the past little while, though, the wait will be worth it. The Witcher 3 is supposed to feature over 100 hours of gameplay, and its graphics look gorgeous, thanks in no small part to Nvidia GameWorks effects like HairWorks and PhysX.
Just make sure the rest of your system is up to the task. The recommended specs call for a Core i7-3770 or FX-8350 processor backed by 8GB of RAM and 40GB of free storage capacity.
You can peruse a list of online and brick-and-mortar retailers offering the Witcher 3 bundle here. That list also enumerates PC vendors whose pre-built systems are eligible for the deal. Some notebooks are included, but only models with GeForce 970M or 980M graphics.
