Morning, folks. It's a bittersweet day for the Tech Report staff. We're all sad to see Geoff go, and we wish him the very best after his 13 years of service to the site. His are some enormous shoes to fill.
Someone's gotta try, though. That's why I'm proud to announce that I'm taking on the Managing Editor job at TR. I look forward to continuing our long tradition of in-depth, stubbornly independent coverage of the latest in PC hardware and other facets of the world of technology.
Despite these big changes behind the scenes, rest assured that our pages won't look much different from here on out. Scott remains TR's Editor-in-Chief, and he'll continue to write the best darn CPU and GPU reviews on the Internet, in my humble opinion. I'll still be writing case, cooler, and peripheral reviews, as well as a healthy dose of news posts.
Our other areas of coverage are in good hands already. You're probably familiar with Mark Nelson's excellent motherboard reviews. We have a new storage writer in the wings who we'll be introducing soon. Gerbil god Bruno "morphine" Ferreira has been handling news for us over the past couple of weeks, as well. I'll be working with this team of writers to maintain the same high standards that we're known for.
Above all, it's humbling for me to take the reins of a site that's so well-loved by its readers. We couldn't do what we do without your continued support. Thanks for sticking with us, and stay tuned.
