"Did you think I'd forgotten you, insect?" Those words sent a little chill down my spine. System Shock 3 has been officially revealed. Most of System Shock 2's development team is at the helm of this project, and they've banded together at OtherSide Entertainment.
There's not much information about the upcoming title yet, but a newsletter link on the game's teaser site leads to a survey about the respondents' preferred platforms and interest in virtual reality gaming. The release date is also up in the air. OtherSide Entertainment is currently working on Underworld Ascendant, a sequel to the Ultima Underworld series, which are some of the best RPGs ever (if you didn't play them, I pity you). That title is slated for a November 2016 release.
On a related topic, Night Dive Studios is remaking the original System Shock as System Shock Reimagined. Can't have too much of a good thing.
