TR's 12 days of giveaways, day five: a sack of goodies from Corsair

On our fourth day of giveaways, the fine folks at EVGA gave us an X99 FTW motherboard to give away to one lucky gerbil. Jake Parker, you're taking home that sweet board. Check your email soon for a message from our business guy, Adam Eiberger, for more information on how to claim your prize. Congratulations, Jake, and thanks again to EVGA for making that giveaway possible.

Those of us that grew up in cold climates have likely received advice from a parent to "dress in layers" or maybe "bundle up" before heading out into the winter weather. For today's giveaway, Corsair has generously provided a bundle of gear for the gamer that any parent would approve of.

This bundle includes Corsair Gaming's Strafe RGB Silent Mechanical Gaming Keyboard,  Scimitar RGB Gaming MouseVoid Wireless RGB Gaming Headset, and an MM300 Extended Anti-Fray Cloth Gaming Mouse Mat. This hardware has lighting options so sophisticated it could give your desk a chance at winning the neighborhood Christmas light competition.

Of course, there's plenty of substance to go with all that style, too. The Corsair-exclusive Cherry MX Silent switches in the Strafe keyboard will ensure a silent night for others. The Scimitar mouse sports a 12,000 DPI optical sensor and a whopping 12 thumb buttons made to be distinguishable by texture.

The Void headset comes with a noise-canceling microphone, support for Dolby 7.1 surround sound, and a battery that'll provide 16 hours of use between charges. Finally, the MM300 Extended mouse mat provides a huge 36.6" x 11.8" gaming surface with a fancy serged edge to prevent fraying. The total retail valve of this bundle is $399.96.

If you've already entered our contest and haven't won anything yet, you're already eligible to win this bundle. If you haven't entered or need to catch up on what's happening, check out the rules and details in our introductory post, and enter using the form on that page. Good luck.
